Our Story

Give Bangladesh Foundation Canada (GBF Canada) was launched in 2021 with the goal of helping the Canadian-Bangladeshi diaspora contribute to the development of Bangladesh.GBF Canada is part of Give Bangladesh Alliance, working with counterparts around the world to implement social and development projects in Bangladesh.We are incorporated as a society in British Columbia, and currently in the process of applying for Charity status.

Get to know the Directors!

President - Nuheen Khan: Nuheen is the co-founder of Give Bangladesh Foundation, and upon his move to Canada in 2020, he led the formation of GBF Canada. He is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School and the University of British Columbia, and is an Economics Instructor at Langara College. He has been serving as a Director of GBF Canada from 2021.
Vice-President - Syeda Faisal: Syeda is an Analyst with the Government of Canada. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University and Carleton University. She has been serving as a Director of GBF Canada from 2021.
Treasurer - Faraha Rahman: Faraha is a Policy Advisor at Statistics Canada. She is a graduate of University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. She has been serving as a Director of GBF Canada from 2021.
